Individual talk therapy solely focused on you. Our clinicians are trained to conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop an individualized treatment plan that will address any symptoms, stressors, barriers and needs you may have. We prioritize self-determination and autonomy in the therapeutic space, which means empowering clients to take control of their own lives. Your clinician is an unbiased participant in your journey towards wellness and recovery. We are here to listen, support, educate and guide. Standard techniques used in sessions include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and more

Couples Therapy, offered by Carrie Salzer, LICSW, is offered to partners or family members (maximum of 2 members in session) looking to resolve relational concerns, improve communication, obtain a deeper understanding of one another and more. Carrie utilizes a solution-focused framework to facilitate the identification and creation of goals, while allowing space for feeling to be heard and increased understanding of one another.
Please note: Carrie is full for couples therapy and is unable to accept new couples at this time.

Psychotherapy groups are skills-based groups that offer additional space for members to share relevant experience with one another. These groups involve learning clinical skills through worksheets, practice in session, and implementation in everyday life. Examples of psychotherapy groups include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eating Disorder Recovery Skills through CBT/DBT/IFS, the Impact of Trauma and PTSD, and more.

Support groups offer primarily verbal support for members to learn about one another's story, support each other in real time, and learn about similar ways one is impacted by shared life experiences. These groups also include an educational component related to the group topic.  Examples of support groups include Women and Relationships, Men's Group Self-Esteem, Domestic Violence and more.

Diagnostic & Evaluation Services

Our licensed psychologist and clinical social workers are equipped to provide evaluation & referral services to assess mental health symptoms and treatment needs. While we do NOT provide formal neurological testing, we provide standard mental health diagnostic evaluations that can help individuals understand their mental health symptoms and obtain needed services from appropriate resources. Our practice is connected to local providers that offer a range of services such as psychiatry, inpatient and crisis services, day programs, intensive outpatient care, nutrition counseling, addiction/substance use services and more.

Successful therapy outcomes often involve a team-based approach. Families experience effective and lasting change when all members are engaged in their own individual therapy, with the option of occasional joint sessions. Having clinicians on the same team treat an entire family unit provides the option of coordination between member's clinicians to ensure family goals are aligned with each member's needs taken into consideration.
